The Giant's Knock in Taddle Creek magazine

Huge flies, a weird tapping in the woods, and a giant hand. So honoured that I have a short story in the summer issue of Taddle Creek magazine: The Giant's Knock. 
It's a middle-grade creep fest for kids 9-12, and is an adapted excerpt from my upcoming book, Jake and the Giant Hand
(Sept. 2014, Dundurn Press).
The summer issue of Taddle Creek is dedicated to kids, with poetry from Dennis Lee, fiction from Cary Fagan and other Canadian writers, plus music, art, comics, jokes, puzzles and more that kids will love. Come to the launch to grab your copy.
